Joana is amazing cashier and sales clerk.Aling with alll of the rest of the team They're all friendly, courteous, and most of all very knowledgeable about the products that they sell. Stopped by to browse and walked out with a new cologne.
All I can say about this fantastic place is,, in my opinion they have the best tasting burgers in town,, really like home made backyard burgers. Pastrami like the Hat so no need to drive out of your way. You won't go wrong here and there fries are the crispy ones but oh so tender in the middle yummmmy. Drive through or eat inside. Parking good and very clean restrooms oh,, and friendly service Always. Give them a try, you won't be sorry just fully satisfied tummy full happy heart. Maybe I'll see you there. ššš
I came in asking if Sephora still offers complimentary service when you spend a certain amount, the employee said that's no longer available and I would have to make an appointment if I want anything done to me. I said fine can I make one to get my eyeshadow done on me they told me no we do not do eyes here and I should go to MAC at Macy's. I then asked if they had any contouring kits for beginners they said no. Next I asked for the mini birthday gift, the employee said we no longer do that here and I would have to go to Cerritos mall. I was very upset as they did not provide anything for me and I felt like they were trying to get rid of me. I ended up going to Nathalie Essence Beauty Makeup instead and got what I wanted.
Thereās a reason for such a poor rating. They are not friendly in the least, and thatās an oversimplification. There were an exceptional amount of sales associates and every single one (including the cashier) were rude. I just couldnāt believe how unhelpful they were. I tried to overlook their poor rating and give them a chance but, no. The amount of rudeness made me feel quite uncomfortable. I do not recommended this Sephora, not unless you want to be blatantly ignored.
Downey resident here.. Awful staff and service at this Sephora. Very rare when a kind sales representative is there. They hate it when they have to assist with exchange/refund. Also, they don't like to assist with people that need help with make-up. I've seen this go on for years. I rather drive out to Cerritos and deal with decent people.
I walked in because I noticed that they had rare beauty in stock so I was very excited. Didnāt end up buying anything from that brand but I asked to be matched to a foundation from fenty. The man working there was like āwe only have really dark shades or really light shades so none will match you unless you want to order onlineāā¦ I was standing there like are you serious right nowā¦ then he proceeds to tell me I should go to Cerritos because they have more in stock. He never matched me with a color. I was like okay good to knowā¦ I walked back to the fenty foundation and they were fully stocked in all colorsā¦ I donāt what type of discrimination this was but Iāve never felt so horrible in my life!!! I walked out feeling terrible.
It was a bit busy when I went. But once I got attended, the sephora employees were very helpful. I was looking for a specific lipstick and Destiny literally went around the whole sephora store to look for what I wanted. The cashier was also very nice and helpful.
I had a terrible consumer experience at this particular JC Penney that was totally turned around by two intelligent, caring service oriented employees. TANIA ( associate who saved the experience) & MARCIE ( astute individual obliviously well choosen for her supervisory position).
It was refreshing to see that these individuals did not use the crutch or excuse of the pandemic to hinder their ability to do what JCPenney's had hired them to do prior to this pandemic and provide every customer with the utmost respect, dignity and quality service that they built their long-standing reputation on.
